Labels

I've been homebrewing beer and mead for about 15 years now. From that hobby I got the urge to make labels for those beers. Now my family throws a big Beer-B-Q every summer and it is up to me to brew the beer as well as create the tap handle labels. We recently began having a different theme for the Beer-B-Q every year and I try to come up with creative names and labels that go along with that theme.

Beer-B-Q 2009

The 2009 theme was "Tropical Island", so our guests wore Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts while steel drums, reggae and Jimmy Buffet played in the background.

Beer-B-Q 2008

The 2008 theme was the 80's, so our guests dug out their leg warmers and parachute pants to dress the part.  Fer shur!  Sportin' 80's threads was not mandatory, but there were prizes for, like, the most stellar 80's dressers. And thanks to those wonderfully geeky engineers in my homebrew club (FORD), the bar played a short audio clip when you pulled the tap handle to pour your beer. So, when you poured yourself a glass of the Pac-Man Nut Brown Ale, it played the Pac-Man theme from the video game... totally gnarly, dude!

Beer-B-Q 2006 & 2007

There were no themes for these Beer-B-Q's... just good times, good friends and good beer. What more could you ask for?!

Other Labels

These labels are older designs or otherwise have nothing to do with the annual Beer-B-Q.
